726220 KNDLE WFI 6" $79.00 (from the receipt)

I expcet that the first number has nothing to do with the Kindle, it's probably
just and internal code for Sam's.
I can't find any identifying information on the packaging or the product but it
does say WiFi. Curly has posited that it has to be plugged into a computer
to get online but I'm pretty sure that's not right. The computer connection
must be for sharing books or whatever between the reader and the computer.

I guess I'll go to Amazon and try and look it up, 6" seems small, maybe they
just have one model that size. None of us know how to use it yet but I know
I can get books elsewhere and not just Amazon. I guess on the computer
and then transfer it over. There's converters that change to the proper format
I know in case the some book online is a different format.

PS: Added images of the Quick Start Guide Here.

Thinking Curly is wrong as well.. WIFI! As long as Ma is home or near a hotspot, she can download a book or newspaper. We paid a little more and got 3g so we could get a book practically anywhere a cell phone would work. I hope she likes it!

Checked it out today and the cable is a mini USB for the kindle to a regular USB to plug into a running PC to charge the kindle. Takes about 3 hours for a full charge but must not need that very often.

It also allows the computer to copy books from the kindle and/or put any new books from somewhere besides Amazon right on there.

I looked at her kindle but didn't see the cable, probably under the cardboard cradle holding the kindle.
You can get a charger for about $10 I think but it has to plug into a wall socket. I've got more empty
USB ports and only one or two availble wall plugins left in the whole house.

Only problem will be signing up and giving them a credit card number. And I can't see it.
I looked around, couldn't find much but got some Stephen King book (they said). Passed all security scans. Had it in three different formats. It had one .epub and I think Kindle reads those, it's proprietary format was based on the epub format.
