This was an expensive morning.
Pulled the SSD and put in a 1 gig Seagate. Then tried to put the SSD
in the little 2.5 inch esata enclosure I'd bought for it. Took out the
faceplate, it held a small board with the connectors on the end. Tried
to plug it in the SSD and snap. Broke the connectors off the board on
the enclosure faceplate, and the connectors on the SSD.
Tried to boot up and check disk says I have a drive that needs
checked. Finally had to put the Win 7 DVD in and repair the boot.
Still about a 10 minute boot. Seems to be running fine on 7 though
now that I'm here.
Win 7 said it installed device drivers but doesn't see the new hard
drive. Easeus doesn't see the new hard drive but it looks like the
partition table is screwed. The new 1 gig hard drive may be bad too.
