Procrastination Pays Empty

Got the old mower started and mowed one side of the
front yard again and tried to refuel while it was running.
With the top off the mower gas ran down inside there
someplace and killed it. Waited awhile and tried to
restart, didn't fire so I quit. Came in and showered.

Looked out and Charles was mowing the back yard that
hadn't been mowed all year. Stuck a twenty in my pocked and
went out to watch him finish. Thanked him and tried to give
him the $20 but he wouldn't take it. Threw it in his lap, he
threw it on the ground so I picked it up. Free.

Honey had gone to the Farmer's Market and didn't notice
when she got back, still hasn't noticed. Curious about
when she will so I'll wait and not tell it yet.

Sounds like a good plan.. Every time you hear him fire up his mower, push yours out there and stomp around looking disappointed! Ma notice yet?

Honey came to the sliding glass door to tell me about the
truck attack in Nice and cracked to door open. After she
got done she looked out and asked "Did you mow back
there?" and I said "No". She looked a few seconds more
and said "It must have just died then." and turned to
leave so I told her it was Charles.

It's been raining regularly since last mowing so the grass
really got high.  Hot.  Mowed a little each morning between
the grass being too damp for a clean cut and too hot to live
for a couple of days, got some cut then today

Diane came over and cut the whole yard.  She keeps her
mower set right next to the ground so she cut what I'd
already cut again as well.
Tried to npay her but she wouldn't take it.  Looking good,
