| The spring on the back of this thing must have rusted or broken, Can't get the tub to drain without holding down the lever the whole time (or hanging a weight on it). | Of course the one out of stock is significantly cheaper! Gives you something to spend that birthday money on! | |

| Yeah, over 4 times as much is significant. I asked Honey, "Wonder how long HD has been out, about 10 years?" I'm on the list and they'll notify me if it becomes availabe again. | |

| Arrived yesterday and I installed it today. Works fine so far. Did feel a little dinky as one guy said in the reviews. He also said it works for now. Looks fine.
Still don't have the three by five foot backerboard though.

| Good job Thump. Did you order backer board or can't find any? You're a regular Bob Vila! | |

| No, didn't order any tile backer board. It's thin cement and they don't mail it (it'd probably get broken). Delivery still costs $150 for a Home Depot order if I had them bring it. Of course I'd order more stuff if I did.
It's 5 foot long, doesn't fit in the car. It's extremely difficult to cut or I'd probably slice it in half in the parking lot and have two 2 1/2 foot by 3 foot pieces. That's what Dave Robey was going to do but he never came. It's the only way to put in the back piece without taking down the side tiles. You patch it back together with thinset mortor and reinforcing mesh after it's in.

| Got an email, it's back in stock now at Home Depot for $2.57 + tax = $2.71
Honey said order a couple but I only ordered one spare, the identical one from Walmart was a little dinky feeling, might not last too long but probably will.

| Honey went up there and picked it up today, exactly the same as the Walmart one. Tax and all $2.71 and now we have a spare we'll probably not live long enough to need. The one I took off was 30 years old. | |
