Hello Thump Board

The Thump board has been lonely lately.

Bought 200 shares of Macy's 3 weeks ago at 21.30. Sold yesterday morning at 26.30. Not a bad profit for 3 weeks. I still like it somewhat and it has pulled back since I sold. Nice divvy as well. Might take a position again if it continues to pull back. Added a few shares of GE, F, and Dis this morning. I think the Disney and Fox merger will add some synergies and should rise 10% + over the next 12 months. Ford pays a nice divvy and has been in a fairly tight trading range this year (low beta) and probably worth the risk for the dividend. GE - who knows but I think they turn it around next year and offers another 10%+ opportunity over the next 12 months. In essence, I'm starting to position myself for what will be a more challenging year for returns next year.

Firefox sux - I always use Chrome and Tracy was using the Firefox portbale. She started having a lot of issues so I decided to try it out again. I had problems with both the port and the full blown edition. Got rid of all of it and downloaded a fresh copy. It was still problematic. I hooked her up with Chrome and I downloaded Opera. I really like Opera.. Pretty fast and it has a little tool that let's you do a snapshot so I don't have to invoke paint to save pictures of the day.

Oh well, hanging in there and feeling a tad better each day.

We're still holding GE and F but not adding anymore right now.

Had some isssues with Firefox myself but the newest version (that updated
itself from Portable Apps) works much better and faster maybe than
Chrome. I'm using portable Chrome most of the time. Didn't think you'd
use Opera or I'd have installed it on your portable apps. You probably
should have stuck with those and downloaded and installed any new
things from there. Installing still messes up Windows OS even if you
later uninstall them. Tracy's problems probably wasn't Firefox though
Yahoo and a few other sites are the problem going around now.

My firefox can save pics just finek, Chrome probably can with and
extension. You can still take snapshots with the Snipping Tool
Windows provides is the whole thing shows.

Glad to see you more active and coming along.

I hope GE will gain more than 10% but it still is up in
the air. I don't expect 10% from F, mostly holding it for
the dividend and hope it ekes out a small gain.
Any year can be bad for auto sales so can't really be
sure for one year. Dis can also have bad years, I'm
not even considering it right now.
