New Home Sales Fell 41% in February 2009

__WSJ: Sales of new homes rose in February for the first time in seven months, the
Commerce Department reported Wednesday, another sign that the housing market is
thawing

__Bloomberg: Purchases of new homes in the U.S. unexpectedly rose in February from a
record low as plummeting prices and cheaper mortgage rates lured some buyers. Sales
increased 4.7 percent to an annual pace of 337,000 . . .

__Marketwatch: The U.S. housing sector continues to see signs of improvement. The
latest government data showed new home sales climbed in February for the first time in
seven months, sending shares of home-building companies soaring.

Not sure I understand..The headline is new housing sales fell 41% and the other three reports show new home sales rose?
Regardless, I'm hopeful things are turning for the better albeit slow and incrementally.

I don't have the link to the site, it was something like tellitlikeitis.com and he headlined
it down 43% since it was. The articles are from recent storys in the important sources.

You notice the little jag up in February but then you look and see them a lot as it was
plummeting. It's ok with me though 'cause it might raise confidence and get things
rolling again. You have to take the news with a grain or two of salt though.
