New Router

I thought I should have another router I go through them so fast.

Netgear - RangeMax WPN824 v3 Wireless Router



I'd forgot about ordering it and just found the box on the front porch this morning.
Cardboard was all damp but it was a big box and the router was in a smaller box
inside dry as a chip.

Here's newegg's Product page for it but mine was "reconditioned". I paid $15 and
$2 shipping. One reviewer put the blue light on top as a con and said he sure
was glad when it broke. I need to try it out but don't feel like it right now.
It can be used as a repeater.

Looks like a good deal for 17 bucks..Let me know how it works. I have an older linkyss that my laptop can't see from the living room so that may be looked into also when I get a new puter.

I haven't tried it yet, it's supposed to ba a pretty good router. You never know for sure
about the state when it's reconditioned. Some are same as new. The deal was over just
after I bought mine though.

This Trendnet I'm using now was on sale for $20 with a USB wireless dongle for the
computer. It locks up about once a day though and I have to reboot it. I've lost
the last sometimes working one I had up last somewhere in this room.
Haven't tried the dongle yet.
