I think Rock and I need to set one of these up and I
can get his video before he comes down.
From an article I read:
*********************************************
Sync folders over the Web

Keeping your files synchronized across several computers can be tough. Maybe you want the same files on your work and home computers. E-mailing or using a thumb drive to transfer files is a pain. And what if you want to sync between a Mac and PC?

You can create up to 10 different libraries. Each library can hold up to 10,000 files. But file sizes are limited to a maximum of 4 GB. In order to sync, all computers must be on. And each must be connected to the Internet.
Kim's Column below:
Sync folders over the Web

Sounds fine, I had put all the littleshopofgames files
over at Curly's house and he keeps needing help
and having me come over to work on it but his res is
too high and he doesn't have his fonts set bigger and
his monitor is smaller. I e-mailed him late at night
and told him to get this.
He called me yesterday and wanted me to get on
and fix his flipper parts page. Evidently he'd just
downloaded it and installed it and didn't create
librarys or even turn it on. I sent him this:
My Attempt To Get On

I'm going to try and get one myself today and see
how it works. Sounds killer. The official signup page
is at:

Yeah, we can probably make that work. I have a dr's appt Friday morn and plan on working from home that afternoon..We could also easily launch netmeeting and I could share my desktop and you could watch the video that way. If it works OK, Ma could see it sometime that night or over the weekend.

I've got my foldershare account now and all you'd have to
do is download a copy of the program and use my name
and password and there it would be. I don't have anything
in it yet but can put something there so you'd know you
were in the right place. Then you could just drag and drop
the video into the shared folder.

I don't know anything about netmeeting and so don't
know what the learning curve would be. I've got UltraVPC
running now though and after turning it on when I boot
the Dell with the magicjack I just run it from my main
machine. You'd have to download the small server and
set up a name and password and send me your IP and I
could run your desktop from here. Or you could if you left
it on while you're here.

Update:
I've got it now and it didn't work like I thought, it sent you
an e-mail to your hotmail account to tell you how to view it
I guess. I made you a senior editor so be careful, you can
change anything. I think it was sharefolder and there's
nothing in it so far.

Sent it to hotmail and put the set up for ImgBurn in it so you'll know you're in the right folder if we haven't forgotten anything. My mind got off a couple of hours ago so I'm not sure but I think it's running now.

Ok..Set up an account and loaded "video" containing 1 file. I couldn't see your Imgburn file when I went to your site? I think we both have to be online at the same time for this to work..Going to bed now but we can try tomorrow night or if you are up between 6:30 and 7:30 tomorrow, I'll leave the browser open on my puter.

Well of course it's more complicated than it looked like it sould be. I really don't know what you've done now but if you set up your own account it should have taken you on to where it sends me an e-mail to join your account.

I left my computer on all night.

Wait a minute, I see it has a folder coming in, (Video) and wants to know where I want to synchronize it. I tried to choose sharefolder but it said it was already being shared so I had to make one and called it Video. I think it's set to automatically synchronize now.
I'll try to add a jpg in a little while.

It'll probably sync when you fire yours up again.
