Open Programs with Firefox

This looks like it's going to be real handy, it's an addon for Firefox that let's
you open programs from the gear in the addon bar.

I installed it on a portable Firefox to try it out.

Might give it a shot when I get back. I assume this is more for windows 8 that doesn't have a start button with these programs already there?

It's easier on 7 even but looks like it'd be great for 8, I just haven't tried it on 8
yet. Or the new 8.1 when it comes out. It's going to have a Start button but
no start menu I think, just takes you to the Modern Metro I heard.
