Coke Buys Green Mountain Empty

Bunch of hype. Green Mountain up 30%, not really familiar with it but
maybe too high. Coke is fairly valued right now, sales down slightly
but it's been cold.

Despite all the hoopla, people aren't going to start making all their
soft drinks in their home. Too lazy for one thing. I'd still buy KO here
but would sell Green Mountain if I had any.

Hmmm. Not sure. Green Mountain has been wildly sucessful with thier Keurig coffee machines. We got one last year and regardless of the added expense, we'll probably always own one.
I tend to agree with the soda thing. Already one big competitor there (SODA). I question if a soda machine could make a soda as good as a store bought one.

People do make their coffee at home.  I did know the Green Mountain
was "in" or a fad right now with higher income people.  You have to do
something to get hot coffee in the morning, you can just get a cold
soda out of the refrigerator.

Not knocking Green Mountain, just saying it may be 30% over valued
after it went up 30% on hopes of selling coke machines.  I didn't
check them out to see what I thought they might be worth.

We're still fine with Mr Coffee after all these years, change every year
but always makes good coffee.  Never quite perfect, the one we have
now doesn't keep the coffee hot enough after it's brewed.  They've
kept the actual brewing almost as perfect as you can get.

People are lazy, want things done for them.  Story of a guy who had
been a disk jockey for 28 years who said "The only reason I still have
a job is because people are too lazy to change their own records".
