Thanks Mom, that's fine. I haven't heard from him yet. I'm trying to place him, is he the one that had Eden's Carpet in Rio Vista where San was supposed to be taking the equipment but evidently hasn't?
If it is I knew his brother Wayne Edens a whole lot better than I did him but he's fine. Wayne was a millright at the plants way back.

Yes he is the one who had Edens Carpet. What a talker he is. He tried to solicit me to join Senior Citizens Club. Also said he and Zella (his wife) were going to come by and see me.
Then talking about our kids and grandkids, he asked me if I knew Tim Buck. When I said yes, he said that Tim got his daughter pregnant years ago. When his granddaughter who is now in her 20s came to see him a few years ago with her baby, she wanted to meet Tim. He called Tim and he came over but they didn't really take to one another.
Jessie told me that he goes over to their church now and he brought the daughter with him to church and introduced her, adding that he didn't even know that he had a daughter. Jessie added him being a Buck you couldn't know for sure if it was true or not.
I know this is just gossip, but kind of interesting.
He may have it in mind to buy San's equipment because he mentioned something about barberque. He is probably a lot more liked in Central than San.

I talked to him just a little while ago and he said he would like to lease with a purchase to buy but I said no. He said Wayne Edens was his cousin and was dead now. He said his brother Charles was wanting a place to sell fireworks. I said to mention it and I might could arrange that but I couldn't hardly do anything until San got his stuff out and he said he talked to San and he had a little building down there and he offered to get a truck and help him move but he never did. He said San had just been working too hard, about 12 or 14 hours a day and just couldn't keep it up. He said he'd had so much trouble with his son and all and just hadn't gotten around to it.

Oh well, I'm glad I talked to him.

I remember Red..They lived up near Scott Whaley. He had two goofy sons.. Rusty and I believe Michael.
