Yeah, it costs a little to ship it but I've shipped them up there before and me
setting it up to work right is free and I do a much better job than the geek
squad at Best Buy who charge up to $100 to "fix" a new machine.
If you're not in a great hurry, I'd like to give it a little more thought. Vista
is better than XP but takes a more powerful computer. It works pretty good
after I've adjusted it to work much like XP. I don't know if Vista was your
main problem with the one you took back or not.
I'd forgotten that I made a small page for the machine I was talking about a
couple of weeks ago and titleed it
Last of the XP Machine?Helen wondered if you like one of the netbooks. The machine we're talking
about is basically a netbook in a regular computer case but it has a DVD and
the netbooks don't. Walmart did have one of the little netbooks for $238 but it
only had 512 mbs of ram. The one you have now only has 256 mbs of ram I
believe and son it's still twice as fast at some things.
She wasn't being silly, it can hook up to a regular monitor and mouse and keyboard
and work just like any other computer and she knows that's how I've been using
and working on hers. She's used it several times set up that way herself.
Oh, Rock said he was in for it last night on the phone.
