Technet Plus

After all these years I finally signed up for a Technet Plus subscription.
I get up to 10 keys for all operating system Microsoft owns, supposed
to be the same as retail. The trick is, they're for evaluation purposes
and for developers to work on code with. Just means I can't sell them
or give them away under penalty and they have my name, address
and credit card number. More than I can use for years myself. I'm
just going to take one year and get all I want.

It's $350 a year but a friend on another forum gave me the discount
code and I got a 25% discount. About $263.
I'd already preordered one of the Windows 7 upgrades for $50 and
they sell now for $119. I'll sell that, I've got 10 of those now.

I've been running Windows 7 Starter Edition today that they let me have,
you can't even buy these, they're only for sale to companys that make the
netbooks. Very limited, they want let you change the desktop background
and it's a plainer version of the Home Basic one. It's fast though and claims
in the VPC to only be using 280 MB of ram and .25 GB of virtual memory.
