Real Estate Business

Got a call from Jim Lewis and he and Hazel got a supoena
and afficavids to fill out over the gas tanks. The state is
suing the guy who owns the tanks and he's trying to get out
of it by saying they aren't his tanks. Besides he and Hazel
they have two previous workers who heard him say it was
and he offered to get the tanks up and running and give
the tnaks to her but she wouldn't accept. They have to be in
Nashville August 29, 2016 for the hearing or trial or
whatever. Nobody asked us.

Jim gave up on renting the restaurant bussiness and
divided the buildning in two parts, one for a real estate
business and I guess his tree trimming business. He's not
going to make any money in real estate.

Well, that should be an interesting hearing! Maybe they will make him remove them and if any contamination has occurred, you can sue him for ruining your land.
Shame about the restaurant biz. Granny said they had good food and a pretty descent crowd when she had gone there.

It may be interesting but...

I'm sure he's called for his company not himself.  They can order
him to do the work but he can officially bankrupt his company
and it's over, I think it's bankrupt unofficially now.  He's not
personally responsible.

After that they'll make me pay for the cleanup.

I've no doubt that Hazel's a good cook but she doesn't want
to now.  Jim told me that one of his businesses was real
estate when I first talked to him on the phone years ago.
Turns out he helped someone sell one house, didn't get any
money for it but they told him he ought to go into the business.
That's not going to work either.
