About Those Book Readers ?

I'm asking you 'cause I've had no experience with them and I'm not going
to buy a reader to check it out. Don't even know what kind you have
(forgot).

I'd like to know how large the book files are, I know they'd be a little
different for different size books. And I'd like to know what file
extension the files are in (.txt or .mob or .pdf etc.)

I was thinking that if you're buying some anyway maybe you could share
with Helen just like we share songs. I found an online converter if it's in
some format she can't read on her netbook (like .mob).

PS: Didn't even think, maybe you download them with the ebook reader
and can't back them up or save them anywhere else?

Yeah, looks liek Kim knows alot more about it than me! Apparently, the kindle only uses the AZW format..

Amazon predominantly sells books in the proprietary AZW format. This is only compatible with Amazon e-book readers. However, Amazon does have a Kindle app.

AZW - Well there's lots of converters and even the online one that you
don't even have to install.

I don't know the specs of yours 'cause they are constantly coming out with

Well this is the free one, I don't know if you have to already have a
kindle to use it or not.
