Diane and curley

Have they gotten home yet? Did they leave the dogs with you or just leave them loose and you took them in?

They got home last Wednesday night on schedule. Diane, surprisingly, had a great
time. They stayed in "Downtown Disney" or something like that and Curly took her
to the movies for the first time. Diane said "Now that there's nobody else around,
were they really a pain in the butt?" and I said "Yes! I'd tell you if everyone was
here." I haven't seen her since that and that was last week.

They wouldn't have ever just let the dogs out loose, they can't even let them out
when they're home. They've got out a couple of times and Curly would ride up and
down the road on his golf cart hunting them until they got them back home.
They made arrangements with us to keep two of them way ahead of time, I didn't
want to but I did. They left Jake with other neighbors, Russ and Darla. They were
afraid Jake and Elwood would fight since they have to break them up every once in
a while and I guess they thought we couldn't handle it.

Heard from Diane tonight, her and Helen are going somewhere in the morning, she
might leave Jake over here while she's gone so he and Elwood won't fight.

Sounds like you need to get another 2 pound dog to thwart future babysitting! Of course, even a 2 pound dog full time would probably be a bigger hassle than the occasional horse watching.
