Stock Market to Plunge

I told Helen last night that the market would drop drastically in the morning.
She said "Yeah, it's supposed to frost in Ocals tomorrow morning."
I just didn't say anything else until later and rephrased it then.

The market's up so much though that I still probably won't find any good
deals on any stock I'd buy. Asia dropped but maybe because of the glitch
that made them cancel all trades yesterday. Europe's only down a little
but US futures are severely down so gold's down and the dollar came back
some as a "safe" haven. Ha.

Thump

Yeah, the market is certainly overvalued but it has been for months. The Dubai deal seems a little overdone and the market came back to finish well off it's lows yesterday. The theory has been that the markets continue to rise because there are fund managers that have been on the sidelines most of the year and are chasing gains now. I kinda doubt this..If I'm a fund manager and had missed this big run from March, I'd be working on my resume for another career!

The weak dollar has also led to the big gains recently but there are so many shorts playing the dollar right now that I would bet it doesn't go much lower.

Monday should be interesting as it has soared almost every week for awhile on Mondays.
