A 3.3 magnitude earthquake shook Blount County residents at 5:28 a.m. today.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports the epicenter was located about five miles west/southwest of Maryville; six miles east/southeast from Friendsville; seven miles south/southwest fro Alcoa; and 19 miles south/southwest from Knoxville.

Yeah, that's real close to where we are and I'm pretty sure my garage door was the epicenter! Heading back to Iowa tomorrow. Sheesh. Bout sick of airlines and this site!
