Windows 7 and 1/2

Windows isn't really coming out with a "7 1/2" are they?! Still use firefox most of the time at home and IE at work.

Nah, I just called it that. The early looks at Windows 8 (might not even be named Windows when it comes out) looks like that and it's for tablets and desktop PCs and anything else that comes out.

That's Windows 7 running a theme program that makes it look and maybe work like the glimpses we've had.
I don't have a touch screen so I can't test the "swipe" feature. Makes it look like you're running Windows 8
while nobody is except a few MS engineers and maybe Bill Gates. There's a rumor that the beta may be out
next month but I don't put too much faith in it. If it's on schedule it is supposed to come out on PCs about
mid year 2012. It will have "tiles" like the image.

Yeah, the tiles caught my eye as it's very similar to the Android OS my smartphone is running..All apps/ widgets are little tiles.
