Not a monopoly but it seems to be catching on.
I got this ZoneAlarm offer in my e-mail this morning:
*********************************************************************************
* Award-winning ZoneAlarmŽ Internet Security Suite is only $9.95!
* Only $9.95!
*
* Limited time offer. License valid for one year for up to 3 PCs.
* Current customers of ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite are not eligible.
**********************************************************************************
I don't use it but see a gripe for current customers who paid $49.95 and
aren't allowed to renew for that amount. Of course I'd never renew but
they think most people will.
Another point:
***********************************************************************************
*
The Linked Web Page***********************************************************************************
When you get there it says for one PC, better save that e-mail.
Am I the only one who would revolt? If you're going to give a discount, give it to me,
a loyal customer, or I'll look for a discount somewhere else.
If Bluehost had given me the three year deal available for new signups I'd
probably still be there now. If I'm excluded then I'll exclude them when it's time to
sign up again.
